The St Benedict’s and Lumen Christi community have spent the last 12 days on pilgrimage through sacred sites in Germany, Belgium, Austria and Czechia. Our teachers help our students achieve success by setting high standards, maintaining orderly classrooms, emphasizing personal responsibility for learning and providing individual instruction as needed. As a result, our students learn to think critically, compassionately and ethically and develop lifelong work and study habits.
We are currently seeking highly qualified applicants to fill:
1) a full time, part year {fall semester}position (US History, Theo 11, AK history, and SS 8 (2 sections);
2) a full time {full year, renewable contract} in junior high physical education/health and Assistant Athletic Director for the 2025-2026 school year.
Candidates who are practicing Catholics and who possess a state teaching certificate or ability to apply for one are preferred.
Candidates will take on the full role of instruction, grading, and preparation for each class, and will be expected to attend faculty meetings, professional development periods, and in-service days.
